eBackpack is a fully-featured Learning Management System (LMS) platform targeting K-12 educational institutions. In production, it runs on a Rails-based backend balanced across roughly 20 servers. The application is served across multiple platforms (web, iOS, Android) through UI built with Angular 2 and Cordova. On a typical school day, eBackpack serves up to 200,000 active users and handles upward of 20,000 requests per minute.
